A Little Messed Up, Starting Over at 60: Watch Me Try (Mindfulness, and Gentle Ramblings)

I’m Grace Sage.

A little messy. A little muddled.
A 60-year-old woman starting over, trying not to go crazy,
while the crows watch me like I’m a reality show.

Some days I walk through the forests of Vancouver Island, thinking:
“Am I grounded, or just very good at pretending?”
I count my coins like a magpie with ADHD,
I whisper to mushrooms, and sometimes they whisper back.

This is my corner of the internet — Sage & Tranquility,
where mindfulness for women meets senior chaos,
where ASMR reflections meet awkward laughter,
and where slow living is possible, even if life feels messy.

I talk about what it’s like to start over at 60:
the little victories, the tiny disasters, the coffee spills that somehow make the day better.
I ramble about grounding, breathing, mindful walks,
and how sometimes the best therapy is just noticing a leaf.

Yes, I’ll share my honest thoughts —
about aging, coping with change, and trying not to overthink every little thing,
about finding joy even when life looks like a jumble of cords and half-finished projects.

Some stories are calm,
some are funny,
some are just me talking to you like a friend
fumbling through this wild, beautiful life.

Some of my stories are calm,
some are funny,
some are just me talking to you like a friend
who’s also fumbling through this wild, beautiful life.

So take a seat.
Grab your tea.
Breathe.
Laugh.
Cry if you must.
And watch me try.
