✨ Learning WordPress Without Screaming (Much)
By Grace Sage
At last — my website and blog are up! I only screamed into the void twice, which, for a woman relearning tech after decades of doing everything manually, feels like enlightenment.
Somewhere between “why won’t this text center?” and “what’s a permalink?”, I realized something deeper: I’m not just learning WordPress. I’m relearning how to start again.
My life has been shifting — some days gracefully, some days like a cat in a bathtub — but it’s change I asked for.
At 60, with ADHD tagging along like an overexcited sidekick, I’m rebuilding my world from the ground up. Not the survival grind of my younger years — those long taxi shifts, the endless dispatch calls, the customer service hustle.
This time, I’m driving toward peace.
Each tiny success in WordPress — a centered line, a working link, an image that finally behaves — feels like a quiet victory for patience and persistence. The digital kind of mindfulness.
I’m leaving the cabs in the rearview mirror.
No driving, no dispatching, no explaining why the meter says what it says.
Just creativity, calm, and a blog that feels like home.
Next stop: education, and then a new career.
A new me, at 60 — curious, caffeinated, and unstoppable.
Stay tranquil,
🌿 Grace
